Lakira Camp is a luxury tented camp, which lies on the edge of Lake Nakuru in Lake Nakuru National Park. Offering just six tents, it is styled to suggest the traditional Out of Africa safari experience, showcasing antiques, four-poster beds and luxurious fittings throughout. 

Lake Nakuru is 160 kms north of Nairobi and lies at the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Nearby are the lakes of Elementaita, Naivasha and Bogoria. 

Accommodation

The six luxury tents are furnished with antiques, four-poster beds, Persian rugs and equiped iwth Egyptian cotton bedding. All the tents are en-suite with shower and flushed WCs. Each have a private verandah overlooking the lake.

Dining and bars

The camp offers a central dining and bar area. A wide variety of cuisines are offered to include international and traditional African BBQ. The camp offers a well-stocked bar area, drinks can also be enjoyed on safari or in a spectacular ’sundowner’ setting with canapes.
