Just outside the boundaries of the Masai Mara National Reserve, Ol Seki Camp is located in the heart of Eastern Koiyaki. Offering just six luxury tents and two tent suites, the camp offers traditional safari décor and modern amenities.
World renowned for the breathtaking spectacle of ‘the greatest wildlife show on earth’, the awe inspiring annual migration of the wildebeest, the Mara is Kenya’s most visited protected area. Technically an extension of Tanzania’s renowned Serengeti National Park, the Mara constitutes only 4% of the entire Serengeti ecosystem but its rolling grasslands, meandering rivers and towering escarpments offer one of the world’s most rewarding and evocative wildlife arenas.
Location
The Masai Mara is 270 miles from Nairobi (five hours by road). All weather air strip - less than an hour from Nairobi by plane. The camp is just 1 km from Ol Kiombo airstrip and hence situated in the Maasai Mara heartland.
Accommodation
The spacious circular tents are complete with en-suite bathroom, hot shower and changing area. Each offers a rustic wooden deck.
Dining and bars
The central dining tent offers 3 course international cuisine while meals can also be served on the private verandahs of the tents. The adjacent library tent offers a relaxation area and adjacent bar.
Child-friendly
The camp welcomes children, but parental supervision is required at all times.
What to see and do
The camp offers an all exclusive package inclusive of day game drives in open 4WD vehicles and night game drives. Also offered are guided game walks, visits to a local village and visits to the local guiding school. Cultural talks are also provided. Trips into the nearby Masai Mara Reserve and also be arranged as can hot air balloon trips (the latter being at additional cost).
