The Impala Hotel is located in Arusha, at the foot of Mount Meru adjacent to a quiet residential area in the suburbs of Arusha just one kilometre from town centre and 30 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. The hotel is set in landscaped gardens and offers a selection of restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, business centre, conference centre and internet cafe.

Location
Arusha is connected by daily internal flights with Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Mwanza. There are several flights weekly to the Seronera airstrip in Serengeti National Park, Musoma and Shinyanga. There are also frequent flights to Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks. Several international airlines have flights into Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), which is half way between Arusha and Moshi whilst a number of internal flights use Arusha Airport (about 8km out of town).  

Acccommodation
The hotel offers 160 simple but well-priced rooms inclusive of 10 junior suites, 20 executives suites and 10 deluxe suites, all with en-suite bathrooms, mini-bars, room service, 21 inch colour TV and direct-dial phones. Laundry, dry-cleaning and forex services are offered.

Dining and bars
The Impala Hotel’s Continental Restaurant is open all day and serves an extensive buffet lunch featuring both international and local cuisine, such as Nyama Choma (BBQ meat).The Impala Hotel also offers an Indian restaurant serving northern Indian styled cuisine and tandoori dishes. Finally there is what the hotel claims is ’the only true Chinese restaurant in the whole of Arusha’. Opposite the pool-deck there is also an Italian restaurant specializing in pizza, while the Impala Hotel pool deck serves day-long snacks and drinks.

Conferences and events
The Impala Hotel has four conference rooms (to accommodate 10-350 delegates) and provides full AV and organizing services. The hotel also offers a business centre with Internet Cafe, secretarial services, forex and travel desk services.
