The new 134-room Ole Sereni Hotel opened in 2009 and is built on the site of the former United States embassy overlooking the Nairobi Game Park. Ideally placed for Nairobi airport, it is also within easy reach of the city centre and allows immediate access to the park. All Ole Sereni Hotel rooms are ensuite, air-conditioned and offer mini-bar, safe, tea/coffee facilities, TV, and telephone, WiFi (chargeable), safe, laundry, hairdryer and 24-hour room service. 4 rooms offer access to physically challenged guests. Smoking is permitted in 10 rooms only.
