Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp is located in the west of Serengeti National Park, 110kms from Seronera airstrip, 16kms from Grumeti airstrip, and 399kms from Arusha.

Accommodation

The camp has just 25 widely-spaced luxury tents, raised on timber platforms, each with a glorious view of the plains and dedicated butler service. Each tent has a spacious furnished deck leading to a bedroom furnished in antique Edwardian style with steamer-trunks, writing desk, brass lamps, rugs and four-poster bed. The luxurious ensuite bathroom is presented in polished mahogany and features twin marble basins, walk-in shower and separate flushing WC.

Dining, bars and hospitality: In keeping with the theme of colonial opulence, the twin dining tents feature Edwardian-styled dining furniture, sprung floors, crisp-starched napery, delicate blue and white china, and elaborate silverware. The staff are attired in classical colonial ‘mess’ uniform of white Swahili robes and turbans. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on a table d’hôte basis, both lunch and supper being five-course, while an extensive selection of wines and spirits are offered.
