Standing in 30 acres of tropical gardens on the banks of the River Nile, the imposing Jinja Nile Resort is one of Uganda’s most popular leisure and business resorts. In the grounds are 30 cottages offering 130 ensuite rooms, while three restaurants and five bars cater for all tastes. Jinja Nile Resort has a dedicated conference centre, a spaciously elegant residents’ lounge, gift shop, its own swimming pool and health club, and can offer activities ranging from tennis and squash to bungy jumping and white water rafting on the Nile. Jinja Nile Resort has 140 guest rooms (all with a double and single bed). The rooms are in colonially-styled cottages, and allow for plenty of privacy. All rooms are en suite, have a small sitting room, work desk and a private Nile-facing balcony. Room-service is offered.
Dining and bars
Jinja Nile Resort has three restaurants offering local and international cuisine, all have Nile-facing terraces. The Main Restaurant seats 150 guests and has a terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The equally spacious Conference Dining Room is located near the conference halls and allows fast and effective service to conference participants. It also has an independent bar for serving refreshments to the conferences/workshops guests. Snacks and drinks are served on the Pool Terrace and the hotel also offers two private dining rooms and room service. The resort has five bars located throughout its grounds.

The resort has its own stage and regularly stages musical events. White water rafting, sundwoners at nearby Bujagali Falls, boat trips to Semeke Island and bungy jumping can also be arranged.
Jinja town itself offers a wide variety of recreational activities ranging from sailing, fishing and swimming to golf tennis white water rafting, kayaking, bungy jumping and quad biking on or around Lake Victoria.
