Opened in 1993, the Nile Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Nile and has a choice of wooden chalets and luxury tents cleverly positioned so as to maximize upon the stunning views of the river and its wildlife. Nile Safari Lodge has a restaurant and lounge, which is extended beneath the shade of a huge fig tree. There is also an open fire for evening sundowners and swimming pool for daytime relaxation.

Nile Safari Lodge lies deep within the National Park, which is on the banks of the Nile.

Nile Safari Lodge offers ten rooms, which include 5 wooden chalets and 5 luxury tents, all fitted with en-suite bathrooms and balconies.

What to see and do on your Uganda safari

Activities include boat trips to the Murchison Falls – a three hour adventure promising sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and a variety of antelopes. Alternatively thee are game drives around the park, walking trails, fishing in the Nile and visits to the villages that surround the park.
