The joint mass of Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks forms one of the largest national parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya’s total land area. Tsavo East, equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa, is painted on a sprawling canvas of endless skies, emerald hills, liquid lava flows, palm-fringed rivers, teeming wildlife and sparkling oases, set against the unforgettable backdrop of mile upon mile of cloud-shadowed African savannah. The lodge, which lies in the Tsavo East portion of the park, takes its name from the Aruba Dam (constructed on the Voi river in 1952), an oasis of limpid brown water that forms an irresistible attraction to both man and beast in this otherwise dry dusty Tsavo East National Park. 

Location

Ashnil Aruba Lodge located in Tsavo East National Park is easily accessible by air and road, and is approximately 160 kilometers from Mombasa, and 326 kilometers from Nairobi. The nearest airstrip is 25 minutes away from the lodge. 

Accommodation

The lodge offers 40 deluxe rooms each with its own panoramic terrace. Interconnecting rooms can be provided for families. The lodge also offers facilities for the physically-challenged.

The lodge welcomes children and offer’s its own children’s pool.

Conference Facilities

It also offers its own conference facility which will accommodate 45 pax seminar style and 80 pax theatre style. Package includes: Stationery, water, coffee and tea – coffee tea, LCD facilities and exclusive barbeque on the final/start day.
