The Place of the Klipspringer

Lying in a hidden glade, known as ‘the place of the klipspringer (mbuzi mawe), guarded by three-million-year-old granite towers, and located at the very epicentre of one of the world’s most famous national parks, this unique luxury tented-camp offers 16 widely-spaced ensuite tents. Cleverly located on one of the main annual migration corridors for over one million wildebeest, the camp is also within easy reach of all the other prime wildlife features of the Serengeti National Park.

Location
Western Serengeti, Tanzania is a part of the well known Serengeti National Park. Serena Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp is located 8-10 hours drive from Arusha. It is adjacent to both Seronera and Lobo airstrips.

Accommodation

16 luxurious and spacious tents, each with 24-hour generator electricity, constant hot water, ensuite bathroom, dressing area, two double four-poster beds and a verandah with a double sun bed. The central lounge features a generous tented seating area opening on to a broad granite terrace with views over the Serengeti. There is also a cocktail bar, a stylish boutique and dining tent.

The central lounge features a stylish bar while the dining room is presented in classic tented style with a panoramic terrace looking out over the plains. The camp also offers a circular barbeque and campfire area.
