Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa consists of 150 bedrooms comprising of doubles, twins, triples, deluxe, inter-leading rooms, family suites and presidential suites. All rooms have a view of the magnificent Indian Ocean.

Standard rooms: 35 sq/m in size including bathroom and veranda. Deluxe rooms: Minimum of 44 sq/m in size including bathroom and veranda, also 1x free newspaper daily, chilled fruit platter or fruit basket on arrival and one free bottle of mineral water delivered daily. Early check in facility and late departure facility free of charge subject to guests flight departure time. The deluxe rooms also feature a lounge area with extra TV. The Presidential suites have their own butler.

Certain rooms are built with a unique open plan bathroom window feature, giving you the choice of watching the TV, or even view the ocean. For security, all doors are fitted with electronic, computerized locks, peepholes and night latch.

Dining and bars

The resort offers a selection of dining venues: The Continental Buffet and A’ la Carte Restaurant, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The air-conditioned Oriental Restaurant specializing in Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine with a Tepanyaki table. The Beach Seafood Grill serving sizzling fresh fish and meat as well as light Mediterranean dishes. The resort also offers theme nights in the garden areas and along the beachfront.

Bars include: the Sunset Bar is situated on the deck of the Continental Restaurant, the Pool Bar is situated by the pool and serves exotic cocktails, the Beach Bar, the Night Spot Bar (live music and disco), the Piano Lounge and the Zebra Bar (library, cigars and liqueurs). The Sports Bar is equipped with live satellite TV. 

Conference and event facilities

The resort offers two conference rooms to accommodate 300 guests plus a boardroom and office. Full AV and equipment is provided, as is a business centre with global telecommunications.

Child-friendly

The resort offers a children's fun center with games, children's theatre, as well as baby-sitting facilities and an entertainment center equipped with electronic games, cartoons, etc. There is a sandpit and jungle gym area and a variety of outside fun games and activities are arranged each day by the animation team. Also available is an outside chess, table tennis, darts, pool, squash and flood lit tennis courts. 

What to see and do

The activities on offer include swimming, snorkelling, sea kayaking, diving, water sports, dhow trips, glass-bottom boat trips, nature trails, butterfly farms, places of historic interest, visits to the nearby Shimba Hills (a coastal national park with plentiful elephant) or to the world-famous Arabuko Sokoke Forest, one of the last of the rainforests.

Diani Beach itself offers just about everything the visitor could wish for: restaurants, shops, golf course and night spots plus; the Colobus Trust, an area of indigenous forest that provides a sanctuary for the areas many colobus monkeys and the Kaya Kinondo, a cultural centre built around a sacred Kaya (grove) of the Digo people.  

The Spa 

This Spa offers a wide range of rejuvenating treatments such as reflexology, Ayerveda, Aromatherapy, mud wraps and detox treatments.
