North of Malindi is the boutique hotel, Dream of Africa, which is set in colourful gardens on Silversands Beach. Presented in typical Moorish fashion, the resort offers a pool, Italian restaurant, terrace, air-conditioned lounge, swimming pool and selection of bars. 

Accommodation

The resort has 35 rooms (33 junior suites and 2 suites). Each room features a king-size bed or twin-beds fitted with mosquito nets. Two fashionable Balinese chaise lounges invite on the spacious private terrace or balcony. Beautifully decorated, the rooms are accommodated in 8 African/Arab styled 2 level villas set in gardens on a private beach. Each has a wide balcony or terrace with day beds (ac, satellite TV and minibar).

Dining and bars

The hotel is on the same property as the Malindi Beach Club, which offers a Moorish restaurant serving both international and local cuisine. Light snacks are served at the pool bar and restaurant.
