Cheli and Peacock’s Elephant Pepper Camp is a traditional safari tented camp, which is seasonally erected within the boundaries of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Beautifully presented, it features just 8 tens and a central mess and and bar. 

Recently refurbished, the camp has been recently refurbished and designed to attract and introduce people to an authentic Masai Mara wildlife Safari Experience. Elephant Pepper Camp (originally Mara Bush Camp) offers a unique, comfortable environment and is aptly named after the Warburgia Ugandensis tree, which is commonly known as the Elephant Pepper tree. Game drives, night drives, bush meals, guided walks, sundowners. Paid activities include cultural visits & hot air balloon trips.

Location: 

The Masai Mara is 270 Kms from Nairobi (five hours by road). The reserve offers numerous airstrips and flights are typically less than an hour from Nairobi. 

Elephant Pepper Camp is in the Northern Masai Mara on the Koiyaki Community Ranch.

Accommodation 

Elephant Pepper Camp offers just 8 tents, each with an ensuite bathroom (with hot and cold running water and flushed WC). One tent is slightly larger than the rest so as to accommodate families, or to act as a honeymoon suite. Laundry services are limited.

Dining and bars 

Elephant Pepper Camp offers a luxurious central mess tent adjacent to the lounge tent. Meals are served either in the mess tent, or within the surrounding grounds, or in the bush. Sundowners are served nightly around the campfire. The Elephant Pepper Camp menu will typically include a wide selection of typically East African Safari or Kenya favourites as well as numerous international choices (vegetarian options always available). 

Conference and event facilities 

Elephant Pepper Camp does not offer specific East Africa Safari conference facilities but will be happy to quote for small meetings and social gatherings or for incentive options centered on the annual migration of the wildebeest. 

Weddings and honeymoons 

This Kenya tented camp makes an ideal East African Safari honeymoon destination, more especially since it offers the chance of observing the annual migration of the wildebeest.
