This traditional East African Safari camp is named after the forest in which it stands (Entim means ‘forest’ in Maa, the language of the Maasai). Secluded in indigenous woodlands looking out over the Masai Mara plains and river, this is a small eco-friendly tented camp designed to impart a real feeling of camping, whilst providing all the luxuries required for a relaxing stay. There are only seven tents, and a central dining area and lounge.

Location

The Masai Mara is 270 Kms from Nairobi (five hours by road). The reserve offers numerous airstrips and flights are typically less than an hour from Nairobi. 

Private Charters from anywhere can land at Ol Kiombo airstrip.

Accommodation 

Entim Camp offers 7 luxury tents are equipped with luxurious beds (double and twin available) and traditional camp furniture. The ensuite bathrooms have hot and cold running water, traditional safari bucket showers and flushed WCs. Each tent has its own private verandah with tables and chairs, where morning tea or evening meals can be served.

Dining and bars 

In the centre of Entim Camp is the mess tent, where all meals are served. All meals at Entim Camp are freshly prepared by the camp's head chef, offering buffet lunches and set a la carte dinners. Entim Camp also offers a tented lounge and library. Meals can also be served on the private verandahs of the tents.

The Entim Camp menu will typically include a wide selection of typically East African Safari or Kenya favourites as well as numerous international choices (vegetarian options always available). 

Conference and event facilities 

Entim Camp does not offer specific East Africa Safari conference facilities but will be happy to quote for small meetings and social gatherings or for incentive options centered on the annual migration of the wildebeest. 

Weddings and honeymoons 

This Kenya tented camp makes an ideal East African Safari honeymoon destination, more especially since it offers the chance of observing the annual migration of the wildebeest.

Child-friendly

Entim Camp welcomes children, but parental supervision is required at all times.

Entim Camp offers daily game drives with proficient Maasai guides. There is no swimming pool. Guided bush walks are also offered as are bird-watching outings.
