Hemingway’s Resort

Hemingway’s is one of the world’s premier big-game fishing destinations (marlin, tuna, sail-fish, king fish and more). Situated on an idyllic stretch of beach, voted ‘one of the best ten beaches in the world’ by the Sunday Times magazine, it has immediate access to the beach and offers a sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere – as suited to families as to couples or groups of friends. The Swahili coast, a glorious ribbon of silver and sapphire, crashing surf and bright coral, is steeped in a turbulent history pre-dating Da Gama.  The Swahili culture, a fabulous fusion of Arab, African, and Portuguese has created a pace of life, a style of cuisine and a mosaic of architecture, heritage, myth and magic that is found nowhere else in the world.
