Three Days Mount Kenya
LAS 204 - 3 days / 2 nights

According to the Kikuyu tribe, Mount Kenya is the home of the Supreme Being; Ngai, a name also used by the Kamba and Masai tribes. The name comes from Kere Nyaga, the Kikuyu name for Mount Kenya, meaning the mountain of brightness – Ngai’s official home, later shortened to Ke'nyaga and then to Ke'nya by the early European explorers who could not pronounce the local name. The Jagged snow-capped summits of Africa's second highest mountain, dominate the horizon of Mount Kenya National Park which lies astride the equator. Other attractions of Mount Kenya  include its pristine wilderness, lakes, tarns, glaciers and peaks of great beauty, geological variety, forest, mineral springs, rare and endangered species of animals, high altitude adapted plains game, unique montane and alpine vegetation with 11 species of endemic plants.
