Kingfisher Safaris Resort

A family hotel under German management, Kingfisher Safaris Resort stands on the shores of Lake Victoria and is renowned for its spectacular views over the lake and its related ornithological opportunities. Friendly and welcoming Kingfisher Safaris Resort is dedicated towards supporting culturally sound tourism and ecologically sound hospitality. Offering a central restaurant, a selection of traditionally styled rooms and suites, and a conference centre, Kingfisher Safaris Resort makes an ideal base for bird-watching tours, white water rafting on the Nile and cultural visits. 

Accommodation 

Accommodation is offered in traditional African ‘bandas’ or chalets. There are six double rooms, four family units, two suites, two twins and 20 single rooms. 

Dining and bars 

Kingfisher Safaris Resort offers both local and international cuisine and bars both poolside and on the shores of the lake.

Conference and event facilities 

Kingfisher Safaris Resort has its own conference centre, which can accommodate 100 guests. Full business support, audio visual and catering support is provide. Conference and business events can be accommodated in the large gardens where all manner of buffet and BBQ events can be staged.
