Some of the Ancillary Services for Your Clients
Briefing
Should your clients require a special briefing one of our senior management staff could provide one. This may give your clients a chance to ask any questions they may have regarding local customs and conditions. This would normally take place on the first night in the Nairobi hotel.
Cocktail Parties and Gala Dinners
We will be pleased to arrange and quote for these functions. Gala Dinners can be done on arrival or departure in Nairobi. Black tie dinners, cocktail parties, sundowners and bush banquets can be arranged in some very exciting places in the African bush for incentives or special groups.
Hospitality Desk
We are pleased to set and quote for this service at your group’s hotels. This service is normally required only for large groups.
Fore-runner
For large incentive groups we normally send a vehicle and rep or manager one day ahead of the group’s itinerary. This means he or she can arrange the rooms, reserve the tables and generally ensure the smooth running of the tour. In certain cases the agent assigns one tour leader to travel with the forerunner.
Flowers, Fruit, Champagne and Anniversaries
We will be pleased to quote to you the price to have flowers or a fruit basket in your clients’ rooms on arrival – with your compliments. We would like to point out that real champagne is difficult to obtain and the cost is prohibitively high and thus we do not recommend this as a welcome gift. Sparkling wine is available more easily and cheaply if this is what you want. We have a list of unique safari gifts available, if this is of interest to you please request it. Special birthday / anniversary cakes are available at all hotels and lodges, if advance notice is given.
East African Wildlife Society
Liberty Africa Safaris is a corporate member of this society and for a small sum can enroll your clients as members of the same. They will receive a year’s subscription to the Society’s magazine. The Society will also arrange a film show and slide presentation on wildlife conservation during your groups’ stay in Nairobi.
