The Lagoon Resort is the closest offshore resort to Kampala. Beautifully situated it is set amid 10 acres of unspoilt natural beauty overlooking a glorious bay in Lake Victoria. Home to many birds and plentiful wildlife, The Lagoon Resort features six natural stone chalets set within the natural forest. It also offers its own swimming pool, lakeside BBQ and bonfire area, central dining room and bar. 

Location 

The Lagoon Resort is 25 minutes by boat from the mainland port of Munyonyo, which is close to Kampala. The resort offers a free boat shuttle service.

Accommodation 

There are just six forest cottages, each of which is raised on a wooden platform and features a traditionally thatch roofed. Each cottage is furnished in handmade wooden furniture and has an ensuite bathroom and private balcony. 

Dining and bars 

The resort has a central restaurant featuring hand carved furniture and boasting stunning views across the lake. Adjacent is a bar, Meals are also served within the grounds, or beside a bonfire on the shores of the lake. Menus feature both international and local cuisine.
