On the shores of beautiful volcanic Lake Duluti, which is revered for its spiritual and cultural significance and surrounded by a dedicated wildlife area, Lake Duluti Lodge is just ten minutes outside the busy Safari town of Arusha. A countryside retreat, it is calm and tranquil and offers 18 contemporary African chalets set on a 30-acre coffee farm. The lodge offers a 50 square meter rim flow swimming pool and sundeck within the landscaped gardens as well as a massage and beauty salon, business centre and range of tourism options.

Award winning architect and lodge designer Nick Plewman (Nicholas Plewman Architects) came up with the ‘Modern African Farm House’ design as the theme of the lodge and the interior decorator Megan Fasanelli (Meg Vaun Interiors) furnished it well after it was excellently built by JCP Engineering.

Location

Lake Duluti Lodge is located 15 minutes drive away from Arusha town. Kilimanjaro International Airport 40 minutes drive and Arusha National Park 45 minutes drive.

Accommodation

All 18 chalets are identical in size, style and amenities. All chalets are positioned to face the coffee farm and each has a private deck. Each room has a king size double/twin bed, a mosquito net, a mini bar, coffee station, plasma flat screen TV with satellite channels, intercom and international telephone line, internet connection, hair dryer, digital safe, walk through shower, free standing bathtub and WC. The entire lodge is wheelchair accessible. The Main Area is Wi-Fi enabled and a couple of computers are present at the reception for those who wish to access the internet. There is no charge for the internet use. Same day laundry and dry cleaning service is available. Room service is available. Drinks are included in the room rate except for a small list of premium drinks.

Dining options – the main dining area and deck, swimming pool’s gardens as well as the lakeshore lounge for light meals. Interactive kitchen is present for intimate and personalized breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Menus at the lodge typically reflect the best of Tanzania choices, vegetarian options, safari specials and international favourites

This venue does not offer specific conference facilities but will be happy to quote for small meetings and social gatherings. A wide range of Tanzania incentives can also be arranged in or around the national park.
