This tiny intact tall rainforest, which contains its own swamp community, boats 205 tree species, eight large mammal species (including red-tailed monkeys and bush pigs), and 78 butterfly species. Highlights of the 141 recorded bird species include; hornbills, blue-breasted kingfishers, grey parrots and back-billed turacos; walking trails make an ideal introduction to Ugandan forest birding.
