Malindi Tour

Legends are told of Vasco de Gama that after being denied entry to the port of Mombasa, he sailed further north to Malindi where he was warmly received and where he erected the coral pillar that was eventually named after him - this is probably the oldest surviving European monument in tropical Africa.
